What personal data we collect and why we do it

We do not collect any information about visitors who are only browsing this website anonymously.

User registration is required to access the file download area, to comment on blog posts, and to post in the forum. When you register an account on this website, we will store your email address and the username that you create for the account. The email address is only used for sending a confirmation link when creating the account and for send administrative messages to users. It will never be disclosed on the website or shared with third parties.

Your account details page contains fields that allow you to enter additional information. This information is not used or displayed in any way on the website and is not shared with third parties, and it can be edited or deleted by you as you wish at any time.


If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

When you use the contact form you are required to enter only a name and an email address. This data will only be used to answer your query and will not be shared or published in any way. You may ask us to erase this data at any point. 


If you upload images in forum posts, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
