      If (as I do) you have both P3Dv4.5 and P3Dv5.1 installed on the same computer, you can make the one installation work in both sims without having two sets of files.

      In your ‘add-ons.cfg’ in P3Dv5.1, add the following — which will point at the P3Dv4.5 installation:

      [Package.X]
      PATH=C:\Users\<yourname>\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\Bookmark Simulations
      ACTIVE=true
      REQUIRED=false

      Change the X to the next number in sequence, and the ‘yourname’ as appropriate.

      This will obviously have to change once the P3Dv5.1-specific version of the Draken is launched.

        Thanks for the great tip Dave!

        Draken 5.1 will be compatible with both Prepar3D v4 and v5, so you will actually be able to install it in a single location. The dynamic lighting fx have been modified to work in both versions, so there will not be any P3D v5 specific content in Draken 5.1.

        I work in a single folder structure during development and put symbolic links to that in the Prepar3D v4 Add-ons and Prepar3D v5 Add-ons folders. But for a normal user it is more convenient (and easier) to edit the add-ons.cfg file.

        Cheers /Thomas
