The ME1 com radio control unit has 350 preset channels for 69 Swedish air bases, which are set by selecting the air base number and pressing one of five keys. For example, to set the default tower frequency at F10 air base (Ängelholm), turn the base selector dial to 10 and press A.
If the Channel Selector is set to ALLM, the A-C-D keys instead mean G-F-E, which are general tower and control frequencies active at all air fields.
To set the frequency manually, click on the minus key (–), then use the two knobs to the left of the LED display to set the frequency.
The FR28 radio transceiver operated on VHF 103.000–159.975 MHz and UHF 225.000–339.950 MHz. The whole frequency range from 103.000 to 339.950 MHz is supported in Draken.
Accepting an ATC frequency in Prepar3D will change the current frequency setting. The new frequency will be shown on the display.
